Message I just turned 20... and my lady ordered a nice little trinket from a local performance shop...

Yes!! No more locking my keys in my car! No more waiting for eternity while the stupid turbos cool down! No more... okay, it's just a stupid turbo timer, but hey - I'm excited, you should be too.

Well, tomorrow is "swap parts from my Red NA (that I'm about to sell) and put them on my TT" Day.

I'll be putting the following on my TT:

Cross-drilled rotors (NA and TT rotors are the same right?)
New Kumhos (front only)
New OEM Leather Shift Knob
Lightened Power Steering Pulley
GReddy PE Exhaust
Knocking out the cats on my TT
Misc. trim pieces
Misc. bolts and screws
and any other goodies I can salvage...

And finally a lame birthday story:

We went to my birthday dinner tonight and I recieved some gear wrenches ($$$), my HKS Turbo Timer Type-1, and a lottery ticket... it's one of those that you have to match three dollar amounts and you win that amount. I begin scratching it off, knowing the stupid things never work but secretly hoping today was my lucky day...

I see $20, $2, and $10,000 on the first row. Second row had $40 and $10,000 again... I was a little excited now... last row had.. that's right $10,000. "I just won $10,000," I said. I was in pure shock. Ten-thousand dollars... that's right, say it with me now... ten... thousand... dollars. Still in utter amazement, I pass it around the table, and people begin to laugh with excitement... no one can believe I just won $10,000. I began to dream... new house... ferrari... fame and fortune... downpipes... only after breaking my dream-sequence with that chick from American Pie did I realize something was amiss - they were still laughing and someone told me to read the back of the ticket.

"Can be redeemed at Yo Mama's House."

It was a joke.

"!@$#!" I silently whispered...

Thankfully I had done all my celebration inside my head as opposed to jumping on the table and making love to the chandelier (sp?) (which I was most certainly about to do), so I was only a little embarassed.

$10,000.

I had it for that instant.

I think I'll go buy a lottery ticket tomorrow.

A real one.

I'll post the results tomorrow.
